Two Topics - Boat Advice & Living Aboard - 2005/09/21 15:32
Hello, I am new to this forum as well as new to the Living Aboard concept. So I am posting two topics here:

BOAT ADVISE: We are tyring to look for an excellent/pristine boat in the 48 to 58' range and are currently looking at a Roughwater 58, Nordlund Wood 58 and a Grand Banks 50 wood. I would appreciate as much feedback on these boats for both cruising, live aboard qualities and wood vs. glass construction. More info the better.... We want to have option of no only being on the dock but on the hook as well as Coastal cruising PNW, Alaska and back down to say Mexico. Would a LRC be a better investment than a GB which is limited I have been told to sheltered water coastal cruising...

LIVE ABOARD: I would like to locate a live aboard slip in the PNW, Wa, B.C. area (I am a Canadian from B.C.) and would appreciate advise on an excellent Marina or Condo Marina complex where one can live aboard or purchase their own slip. Any contact names or numbers would be also appreciated along with any advice on which marinas are better than others....

Again thanks for your feedback....

Craig - still looking for the right Boat & slip...
