GLOBE YATCHS - Seal Design - 2008/05/11 14:47
The 38' model was a Bill Garden 'Seal' design revised by Bill Garden for Globe Yatchs. I know of seven different boats that have been or still are documented as the Globe 38's. I know of three that are the pilot house model (I own one, a ketch) and in the Puget Sound area.
My staysail rigging was not with the boat when I bought it. Of the other two, one of the boats seems to be set up differently than mine and the other boat I was unable to see how the rigging was set up.
I would like to find specifics on the configuration - pictures, drawings, measurements,etc.
Can anyone help?
I am currently researching and gathering information on these late '70s early '80s boats and would like information from other owners, especially original paperwork, advertising, etc.
