Gulf 32 - 2005/01/24 09:13
From looking at William Garden's book "Yacht Designs" it is clear that the Gulf 32 described in the book is the one made by Gulf Marine during the 1960's and 70's. Capital Yachts came out with a boat named Gulf 32 during the 1980's that is obviously based on Mr. Garden's original design. Does anyone know if the Capital Yachts version of the Gulf 32 is a licensed design from William Garden? Or did Capital Yachts follow the common practice at the time, and considered the modifications that they made to the original design enough to call it their own?

thanks,
